UNY-PRC Working Group

Once a week for a couple of hours, members of the Upstate New York Policing Research Consortium (UNY-PRC) Working Group put our butts in the seats and words on the page. Participants sign into zoom, share goals for the session, and conclude with a progress report. Along the way, we not only make steady progress on our projects, we build camaraderie among fellow writers.

The UNY-PRC Writing Group establishes a routine commitment to our writing projects and the accountability of working in group.

We are writers from a variety of backgrounds who write about policing, carceral systems, and liberation in Upstate New York and beyond. We welcome you.
