Ted Forsyth

Ted Forsyth is enrolled as a sociology PhD student at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. In 2021, he earned his master’s degree in criminal justice from Rochester Institute of Technology. From 2017 to 2019, he participated in a movement to pass legislation creating the Rochester Police Accountability Board. In 2017, he co-authored the community report “The Case for an Independent Police Accountability System: Transforming the Civilian Review Process in Rochester, New York,” with Barbara Lacker-Ware. He lives in Rochester with his family.
